BBC and the OU - the learning journey

The Open University's partnership with the BBC is continually striving to bring you absorbing, innovative and inspiring television and radio series that bring learning to life.

That partnership generates online learning journeys that enable you to take your interests further. You have just embarked on one!

The OU has had a partnership with the BBC for over 40 years and co-produces up to 25 television and radio series a year.

Programmes are produced across all BBC television and radio channels, and the World Service. Co-productions cover a variety of formats ranging from landmarks such as the Emmy Award winning Frozen Planet, live transmissions such as Stargazing, and factual series like Life Story and The Secret History of our Streets.
